Mortgage delinquencies down 5% in August: LPS. There is a shadow inventory of homes that are 90 days delinquent but not in foreclosure of over 2.3 million, and according to Lender Processing Services mortgage report there are 6.9 million homes that are either 30 days delinquent or in the process of foreclosure.
